Ezekwesili Stands Firm: No Insults Can Silence The Call For Justice

No Amount Of Insult Will Stop Me, Natasha Must Be Given Fair Hearing - Ezekwesili

Ezekwesili: Standing Strong Against Political Insults

Naija News brings you the story of a fearless advocate for justice. Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has boldly declared that no amount of insults from politicians or internet trolls will deter her from demanding a fair hearing for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. This isn’t just a political stance—it’s a battle for accountability and integrity in Nigerian governance.

Ezekwesili revealed in a powerful statement that she has been battling government-sponsored trolls since 2014, across three different administrations. These attacks are not random; they’re calculated attempts to silence her and others who dare to demand transparency and accountability from public officials. But Ezekwesili isn’t backing down anytime soon.

Why Accountability Matters: Ezekwesili’s Unwavering Commitment

Let me tell you something important. Ezekwesili made it crystal clear: “Will I ever stop holding our governments, politicians, and public officials to standards of public accountability? The answer is simple—no way. It’s impossible. No amount of insults can ever make me stop demanding accountability in our democracy.”

These trolls are not just random individuals; they’re hired hands working for politicians and governments who want everyone to stay silent. They want us to endorse their bad governance, their selfish actions, and their criminal behavior. But Ezekwesili isn’t having it.

“Those who’ve been on social media since 2014 and followed my activities might be surprised that anyone is shocked by the insults hurled at me during that Senate session,” she stated. She added, “The internet trolls allied with politicians and the three administrations of the Nigerian government since 2014 have called me worse names on social media and elsewhere. But here’s the thing—I hardly dignify insults. They’re like water on the back of a duck. They don’t stick.”

Natasha Deserves Justice: The Recall Process Won’t Work

Ezekwesili emphasized that the recall process initiated against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan won’t succeed. Why? Because justice and fairness demand that Natasha be given a proper hearing regarding her allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

“Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan must be given a fair hearing by the Senate on her petition against the Senate President, Senator Akpabio, for sexual harassment,” Ezekwesili insisted. “All the tricks and tactics being thrown out there to prevent this from happening will fail. Senator Uduaghan was chosen by the good people of Kogi Central, and no fraudulent recall will override the will of the people who believe in her representation of their interests in the Senate.”

A Call to Action: Let’s Demand Accountability Together

This isn’t just about one person or one case. It’s about standing up for what’s right and ensuring that those in power are held accountable. Ezekwesili’s courage serves as a reminder that we all have a role to play in shaping the future of our democracy. So let’s join her in demanding justice—not just for Natasha, but for every Nigerian who deserves a government that works for them.

As Ezekwesili so eloquently put it, “No fraudulent recall will prevail over the will of the people.” Let’s make sure that justice prevails.
